I recommend watching my videos with CC or Subtitles only if you understand less than 50% of what I am saying in my videos. If you understand more than 50% without English subtitles or CC on, do you best to just listen. This is a great way to improve your English listening skills. This channel is meant as part of an English learning lifestyle, as a place to learn English skills, learn American culture, and create strong English learning habits. Keeping subtitles off and writing notes as you watch can be effective ways to move closer to your English learning goals. I hope Cloud English will be your main stop for American English lessons!

Hello, I become across this video and I checked, but I found that you have more reviews. I wonder which app you recommend or is the best. I have been living in Canada for fourteen years, and still I have problems with pronunciation. Any way I enjoy w the videos
Do you know any app with the pronunciation for words ended with "ed"? Google Translation had this but doesn't have more.
I got 80 % its a great app
I hate you. Your Chinese accent is actually pretty good. lol
I like Ur accent
Thanks, my start escore: 55. Now 69. I use The App for 10 days
Great Chinese accent. You get 100% from me on that one
7:52 As a non-native speaker, I got a 95% score, which I thought was excellent.
Should I use this app or use the shadowing technique?
yeah Chinese accent is so simplier than French one 😂
Hey, i'm learning english right now. Do you think this app will help?
48% is my score, i am from Colombia
Great video. Thanks.
🙂🙂👍

The idea itself is kinda brilliant though it fails when giving you UNNATURAL/UNREAL things to say. I mean, no one would ever speak like those sentences. So, check your "fails", keep them in your mind and get off to practice "shadowing technique" over real people and your favourite videos.
is there any other app you can suggest us? thanks!
I got 85 😅..
Elsa really help me exercise my tongue to be more understandable. By the way thank you for your review. 🙏
I've tried the app for 2 sessions and I found that it did help me find one or two mistakes I've never noticed. However, it's still too unreliable and wastes some of my time, because (1) it delivers false positives by attributing sounds from one word to another and (2) it lets lots of mistakes uncorrected when I deliberately spoke in a strong German accent. It's great that the app also gives different possible native pronunciations in phonetic letters for a single word, but it shouldn't be THAT lenient. Overall I think it's a good tool for people who are only starting to work on their accent. It's a great concept with the right rules and a step into the right direction and just needs to be polished. There is no one who would help correcting all my mispronunciations for 5 bucks per month.
Have u updated it ? im start using latest version from today and i got a problem that i didnt get any schedule anymore like before. thats why anybody knows what happened ?
Thanks this was a useful demonstration. Well done.

I am going to try this app now, thank you for the video
Iol that’s really Chinese accent!! How do you imitate that so well!
89%😁
Thanks for the video, really insightful.
How to do this for free:
1) Start a new meeting in Google meet (no need to invite anyone) and turn on the captions. If Google's speech recognition can understand you, native speakers can understand you, too.
2) For any words Google can't recognize properly, check the IPA and native recording of this word on the easypronunciation website. Choose "Convert text to transcription" from the menu and select English.
3) Copy each IPA symbol you have trouble with and search on Youtube the IPA symbol plus "sounds american". Sounds American is a fantastic channel to learn how to pronounce American English.
4) Profit.
my score is 73%
you did not tell nothing whatsoever
My pronunciation improved a lot from 75 to 80 in like a few weeks time, but the app itself is not enough, I have to learn how to make the sounds from youtube tutorials to help me improve.
It is more of an evaluation app, although it does help to teach you how to pronounce a bit.
I'm curious about what is your final score ?😂
This video totally what I need. I've been studying English alone. And I use this app to improve my pronunciation.
I just start learning English for 3 years, and my first test I got 86% pretty cool but I am not fluent now.
Elsa speak just help me improve my pronunciation. It's really hard to be fluent. I need some help from you guys, thanks.
Oh, btw, I know this video from a recommendation of YouTuber calls Hanna's lexis.
77% kind of turn off
Hi
what is your native language ??
Hi Luke,
Do you have any podcast of you in playstore?
I used to use this app till I got tired to repeat and repeat some words and especially some paragraphs, it was frustrated for me. I am not saying that the app is bad but some times Elsa is a little too picky regarding some sounds.
I've never tried this app before. It seems useful when it comes to training pronunciation.
I gotta try once 🤔
What do you think about a 77% I did the test, like a month ago and it gave that % level… I am Nicaraguan
